as i don't have any other vnc hosts around, i can't check wether the
problem i only with qemu.

this is the first time i was able to build not only firefox and
thunderbird but also libreoffice with german langauge installed, thus
the desktop is ready for daily business.

i have some problems building libreoffice
i guess i first tried with 3.4.something - and gave up..
last week i tried to build 3.6.0.
make runs fine, but install fails.
autoconf and make dont complain, but maybe i just have some missing
dependencies as kde and/or gnome are not built as i use xf

system hung - this time not even the mouse could be moved...

(including some packages from blfs before booting the new system) and
again after building the x11-
to build cairo with svg support, librsvg must be installed.

to build gtk, cairo must be installed
i guess, i'll have to rebuild cairo again after gtk
and probably gtk again after cairo...

i now made some more test. i don't know wether ALL of the following are
