Tried to build X on a brand new LFS SVN-20130329 base
(Linux-3.8.4/GCC-4.8.0) with x86_64 architecture.
Got build errors with 2 packages in the Xorg applications :
- luit-1.1.1
- xmodmap-0.7.0
In both cases the reported error was "implicit declaration of function".
I had to add #define _GNU
