I use nbsmtp for this. It only takes a 2 line /etc config script to tell
it which smtp server to connect to to send the mail, and what fromaddr
to use. No local sendmail/exim/postfix/q

I need to send a mail from within a shell script.
I've seen "nail" in the BLFS Book and I thought it was
the right program.
The book says that a MTA is optional, but if
nail doesn't fine "sendmail" it doesnt work.
I tried to install exim and also sendmail. In both
cases it is a lot complicated
