When I choose another theme in the gnome theme manager, it changes the colors and the icons, but not the window border. In the "Theme Details" dialog, there isn't a "Window Border" tab.
same problem here. The window borders and title bars are from whatever program manager I'm using, metacity or fluxbox, etc. My application switcher window is missing, i.e. alt-tabbing behaves as it does in metacity or fluxbox. And programs mostly 'vanish' if I minimize them, and can only be brought back if I close a different window. Very strange, but I've spent so much time on this issue, ie installing new window managers, messing with config settings, that I've given up for the time being.
