If A is running under the new BLFS svn 20061028, KDE 3.5.2 and cups 1.2.7, A does not see the printer list and consequently cannot print. The 1.2.x series of cups apparently changed some interface that the KDE print system relied on. You have a few options to get things working: 1) Downgrade
