Hi
I just finished a free trial of the Norton system works. I understand
this a bigger package than you were interested in but I am able to access
most of the features I am interested in, by using the JAWS cursor. So, I
bought full program. Now, I suspect you may be able to download a trial
HelloCarlos:
This is just one man's opinion, for what its worth, Don't waste your money.
I have just the norton anti virus 2007, and I find it very inaccessible with
jaws 8. Even just trying to use the jaws cursor is a real pain in the ass.
Norton anti virus 2006 was a much better build then 20
Listers,
Is any body out there using Norton2007 with out the security package?
I know that Jaws can't work with Norton2007 with the security package, but
has anyone tried with just the antivirus? It does come that way, at least
here in Texas it does.
I rather not buy it if it's not going to work.
Thanks, I will give this a try.

Hi,
It requires a captia to register it so you can keep using it for a year
until you have to get a new key; and even then, you have to keep re
registering it using that same process you did the first time you registered
it.

Hi,
Avast can be made JAWS friendly. I've done it, so I know it can be done.
All you have to do is go into Avast's settings and turn off something that
says something like "Use Skins" or something similar to that. Once that is
done, Avast works great with JAWS.
Hope this helps,
Jeffrey

carlos, you gave up on avg free too quickly. The latest version of avg is

Avast, as I recall, isn't jaws friendly while avg is. marilyn

Carlis, just press enter on the continue button. Don't worry, just ignore
it. It's just telling you that you're about to install an out-of-date copy,
but because it's going to be updating anyway you might as well just ignore
it and carry on with the installation. Hope that helps.

Listers,
A friend of mine tells me that the antivirus program Avast is a very good
antivirus program. but as you know, we need to know whether it works with
Jaws or not. So, does anyone out there know anything about Avast? I'm being
told that it works just like nod32.
Oh, well I will have to make
Hi Annette,
I finally figured out how to create the labels for printing from the
word document. I did have the addresses in a column and as I went
through each step in the mail merge , I got to a point where I was
totally confused.
With office 2003, when I got to arrange the labels, I had to e
Hi Chris,
I was referring to the Microsoft utilities that are available for all drives

I don't know if Norton has stuff like that in Norton Internet Security, but
I know that Disk Doctor does come with tools of that nature, but in any

I can't tell you how to merge addresses from a table in Word, but I have
figured out how to do it from an MS Access database.
If you have MS Access and wish to enter your information there I can help
you with that.
You can contact me off list if you want to pursue this.

Hmm, I think it's the default setting to scan your computer automatically
daily, as well as check for and install any updates found actually. So I
doubt someone's set it up for you, unless they've changed, for example, when
to start the scan.
