Chris, what if I used just the e acceleration firewall and added avast. In other words, I think I'm ok with stop sign and the other parts of e acceleration, but maybe avast would be better for viruses. I paid for it so guess I will stick with e acceleration if it does the same work as avast.

Chris, If g mail has a spam blocker, then probably nothing. When I signed up for bluebottle I didn't know of g mail. It wasn't until I read a few questions on this list about the service that I knew it existed. I'm about to try configuring the g mail account I set up to work in Out Look Express.
