This seems to be a defect in Windows Mail. I had it happen several times and gave up and bought Office 2007 to use Outlook. It may have a fix if you get the new service pack. But here is what you can do to get by this problem. Use Windows Explorer to find the Outbox folder. Windows Key plus E will

Not 100% sure why that administrator account gets 'automatically' created, but probably has something to do with the initial installation process. Do you reckon you're shortcut key changes to shortcuts on the desktop just get 'deleted' every time you restart? Also, is your current user a member

I cannot see any reason why having an administrator account would affect this. I personally would not delete this account as it is a default account with full access to system rights which is useful to have recourse to if something is odd with other accounts. You can check permission setting in y
