Hi mich,
First off, make sure the area around the ventilation vents on the case is
unblocked, IE, nothing leaning against it. then, go inside the computer and
clean out the dust, that'll give the fans room to breathe if you know what I
mean. also, if the room the computer's in gets hot often,
If you're talking about setting the tab spacing, then in Word 2003, I go to
the format menu, and go down to the tabs menu entry, hit enter, then tab to
something like tab spacing.

Where my computer sets is completely closed in so no air could get to it. I
drilled three large holes in the back of the desk for air holes and picked
up a small four inch fan from Radioshack and the fan pulls air through the
holes. The fan sets on top of the computer. I plugged the fan into
that, is one excelent example of what you can do if there's no way of moving

I am using windows XP and jaws 8.0 and I have been having some problems
with my computer and somehow I wound up in demonstration mode. I would
appreciate it if someone could tell me how to get back on jaws 8.0. Also, I
cannot get into the jaws configuration manager by pressing insert and
If you hit Jaws key + J, does that context menu pop up?
There under the utilities menu item, you can also find the configuration
manager, but if you first go lower down, look for 'about', and that dialogue
will tell you if you're actually running in demo mode, bersion numbers etc.
etc.
