Personally, I dumped Norton after buying all the 2007 software and finding it
completely inaccessible without sighted help. I'd been a happy Symantec
customer since 1999, and was surprised to see that they'd gone from very
user-friendly one year to completely unfriendly the next.

Downloaded Recuva 1.23 slim version and it works with JAWS 10. The slim version
installs no toolbar. Less junk the better. I was originally using version 1.09.
The interface has changed is much better now. Read the user guide. Only

Sorry, I guess I had the wording a little off in my previous email.
So just in case you end up with this weird keyboard problem with the Dell

I had the same problem with my Dell laptop. FS Tech Support knew exactly
what the problem was. They asked me to uncheck any Start up item labeled
CycberLink or PowerDVD in msconfig. By the way, this device also
screwed up reading the proper cell in Excel.

I went to the jaws users page and found #s 35 and 36 for the station ripper
program for recording internet stations. I tried download links 35 and 36
but I couldn't get them to activate. I went in again under programs and
tried it with the links command (s for station ripper) and still
I just decided to leave both of them up there in case anybody had a
preference. 36 is newer.

I also could not get Station Ripper to install and work. I eventually
settled on another freeware program called screamer radio which installed
quickly and easily. It has a basic but easy to use record stream feature.
From memory all you do is press control r and it starts recording. I do not
I'd like to do that same thing, but I need something that can image to an

Hi Folks,
Got a friend who's having a real pickle of a time with ZoomText.
She's running Windows XP and the latest version of ZoomText, and it's a fresh
install of ZoomText.
For some strange reason, when she boots up the computer, ZoomText is running,
however, it isn't magnifying, or
When you make an immage of your install, how do you go about getting it
reinstalled? I am assuming that there are things that have to be done when
you put the cd or what ever media back in to install from? If it's as easy

Windows XP. I am currently using Windows 2000. Will this program help me to
transfer my files from my old machine to the new one though the version of
Windows will be different? Thanks.
