In the microsoft software, I used the jaws cursor to activate the CD menu
and then told it to mount the iso image, and then on the activities menu, I
chose restart, and it then started up and seemed to be booting from the CD
image, but haven't tried it out enough yet.

For anyone using Vinux in an emulator and can get to the username prompt:
The only account I am aware of in this distribution when first starting is

Good morning listers. I'm in the market for an 8gb flash drive for file
backup. Are they really as easy to use as simply plugging them into a USB
port? Are there any special considerations for using one of these little
gizmos with JAWS? Can they be used with the Windows Backup utility
Hi Donald,
You may want to set the return to Windows keystroke to the other offering
which is control plus shift plus alt.
You can do this in the Vm-ware main window by going to:
Preferences with control plus p and you will find it on the Hot keys page
of the dialog.

Hello, Jerald:
I have a Lexar flash drive that I really like. It doesn't have the capacity
that you're looking for, then again, I'm sure that they have more than one
model.

They're every bit as easy to use as they sound. Simply plug it into the Usb
port, and tab until the lexar

says a control alt f 4, and nothing happens.
so where can i find the repair option in jaws 10.

Hi Gerald,
Yes, they are that easy to use. Sanddisc or Corsair are 2 good brands. I
would suggest getting a 16 gig since the physical size between an 8 and 16
gig flash drive are about the same and the price difference isn't that much.
You can get some very good deals on flash drives from

That will depend on which email program you use. For outlook, you have to
export what you want to save into a folder and then save that folder to a
flash drive or some type of external hard drive. Then you can import that
saved folder into the outlook program on the destination computer.
I can get my windows media player to start and play a compact disk straight
through, but can not gett it to jump to another selection, or any of the many
other things I know it can do. Is it something that I should do, or should have
done?

Thanks John. As you could probably have guessed by my last message that my
focus was on learning Vinux and paying as little attention to the emulator
as possible. Now I can focus on Vinux again.

You could try going into the start menue and press enter on access programs and
defaults. I'm not quite sure what to do from there because it's been a while
since I've done anything in there.
