I found MP3 conversion to be slow and even made my first track of a CD jump

As Linux is a different operating system no, but if you go to
www.vinux.org.uk and download this free and open source operating system
called Vinux then Orca, the built in screen reader, will come up talking. It
is actually a customized version of Ubuntu designed for blind and visually
The answer is; you must do a clean install even on the upgrade disk as the
upgrade path from XP to 7 doesn't exist.

Rick,
I think I know what happened to Devona's message. In the old Yahoo system,
you could send a message with Normal in the subject line or perhaps as a
part of the address which changed the delivery from digest mode to normal
delivery. I believe that may have been what Devona was trying
It means that none of your programs, files and settings will be migrated

Yvonne,
If you are trying to send an audio file as an attachment, there are several
things you need to consider.
1. GoldWave saves audio as a .wav file unless instructed to do otherwise.
That kind of file is very large and may not necessarily pass through the
size restrictions imposed by
that's complicated
if i was still sighted no problem
but only being blind since 2003 and difficulty using screen readers this is
not so easy
i would need someone to talk me through it on skype and i would record it on
