Hi everyone,
I have a bunch of CDRW that I have formatted so that I can do a copy
and paste when backing up important files on the CD.
Since then, I have been saving my files on either a flash disk or an
external hard drive since I don't trust backing up my files on a CD anymore.

Windows explorer allows you to reformat an RW disk.
Wouldn't that leave it clean for whatever other files you want to put on
it?
Just put the disk in the drive and open Windows Explorer.

You can re-burn over existing information on a CDRW. The RW means
Rewriteable. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Hope this helps.

The CDRWs that I have are already formatted and yes I can copy and
paste files to it. What I want to do is to completely remove the
formatted information and restore the CDRW to its original condition.
