I want to say thanks to David and all the others who helped resolve my
problem with Outlook 2003 and e-mail being announced after closing Outlook.
After trying a little bit of all things suggested, Outlook finally closes
completely and no longer announces e-mail while doing other tasks.

Hi Everyone,
I'm asking this question for a friend & myself.
We both are using X P, he's using jaws 12, & I'm using jaws 10.
Can someone let me know how does fire fox work with both versions of jaws?
Is it hard to use after using internet 7 or 8?

You can do this by pressing alt+f.

TJ,
I checked and that option is unchecked. I do thank you for the
help. If you have any other ideas, I'd be glad to hear them.

Hi Alan,
I found these directions from a google search:
How do I turn OFF the annoying "You've Got Mail" announcement?

Okay, I've saved my outlook express addressbook as a csv file. Can I just
copy that to my flash drive and then what?
As I'd said, i didn't find an import or export button in outlook 2010. It
might be there but I'm not sure where to look. Thanks, Karen

Hi David,
Boy, if you could find those instructions, at least I could give it
a try. I don't think it is that much of a problem. Last night after I had
closed Outlook, I was doing something in a word document and it suddenly
announced e-mail.
Again thanks,
Allen

I don't know if you have used the forms method in Kurzweil or not, but if
you have you know it is not very reliable, fixes are promissed for next

IE fixed that problem in the past? I did read an instruction
on that from Microsoft a few years back

Hello Jerry,
If he created the forms in MS Word, or another word processor, ask him
to just email it to you as attachments and you could edit them, filling
it out, in the same program and email it back to him.
If you have to scan the hard copy, Kurzweil has a feature to scan a

You can also OCR the .tif fax file, received via a fax to email service,
these days freely available, with Omnipage, Finereader, Openbook or
Kurzweil.
With Kurzweil and I think some of the others, one can do this from
within windows explorer, by selecting the file and choosing the relevant
