hmmm, sounds like you need to backup anything else on the hard drive
and reformat the drive.

usually on a laptop the hard drive in installed inside a smalll
caddy. once the two retaining screws are removed, the caddy will
slide out and the drive is inside the caddy. much easier that
removing a desktop drive.

when you execute nero, you should land on something like cd-rom (iso)
at this point, nero believes you are wanting to burn a cd. press
shift+tab and you should hear cd. now, down arrow once and that
should move you to dvd. tab once and you should now hear dvd-rom
(iso). this is your first dvd s
