I probably could have but I had an opportunity to purchase 6 of these cards on Amazon for $11 with free shipping. The USB card has buttons to adjust the volume and it's very convenient. It also has a microphone jack.

So I could have JAWS coming out of the external card with a headset
and music coming out of my speakers.
