I use a netbook at home and there seems to be a very very long delay,
particularly on the Internet, between giving a command and the computer
reacting.
Any thoughts?

I am an editor of books so my main worry is can I keep the functionality of
Jaws with J-Tools which enables me to cut and paste at speed.
