Interesting. I really want to move away from Windows, but I have not really found an alternative. I have a UNIX background so the move to MAC should not be that hard... How is the Braille support on MAC? I really need Braille capabilities, an accessible web browser, accessible email and secure shell to access my Linux machines both at home and at work. I also need Open Book or similar to scan and read my snail mail. If it was not for the scripting capability I would probably switch to another screen reader. Voice Over also has Apple Scripting capabilities now which controls more than just the screen reader. Apple's decision to include Voice Over on the new iPhone and an accessible iPod don't hurt demonstrating Apple's commitment either. I removed Sentinel from my computer to see if the USB problem goes away. I had never noticed it in the Programs list before. What version of Sentinel is installed on your computer? Perhaps FS just updated this software during the JAWS 11 beta installation. The version I removed was 7.5.0.
