I have tried the PDF to Text converter program, and was disappointed with it. I have tried saving the file as text. This works, but often leaves you with extra junk. The option I like best is to open the pdf document in Adobe. In the Edit menu there is an option to, Copy to Clipboard. Choose this, then open a blank document in MS Word, and paste with Control V. Earlier versions of Adobe will do this too. I have found that if I download a pdf file, I sometimes have to save it, then open it from my saved file before I can access this option.
