Is there an advantage to having SAPI4 voices to having the SAPI5 voices
contained on the CD from Kurzweil? I am just not clear on the differences
between the two?

I just found the following page:
http://www.st-tools.com/download.asp
It allows you to install the sapi4 engine, and 8 voices to go with it, and
just tested them in NVDA, and work alright.
