If you have Dropbox on both machines, it should act like a drive, so I don't
believe a share folder is necessary. I do this frequently as a matter of fact.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Using DropBox to transfer files

Hi,

I am wanting to transfer folders and files from my XP computer to my
new Windows7 computer. Presently, I have DropBox installed on my XP
computer and I know that I need to install it on the new computer.

What is the best way to do the transfer? I am assuming that I need to
set up a share folder for this purpose.

Any guidance will greatly be appreciated. Take care.

Lennie
