Hi everyone John R. here

today I went out and bort myself a ruter for the desktop PC on windows XP
home
I've hard wired it to the PC because the PC is right next to the modem
now my problem has come with connecting things
my dads laptop is windows 98SE and it didn't have wireless connectivity
I especially bort a PCI laptop card for it and installed it and that works
perfectly installed
now I can't get it to connect to my PC and I don't know what to do to
achieve this

please help

it's a linkcy router that supports 4 wired connections and 9 wireless
connections (as stated on box)
all lights are on the router and all lights are on the modem
it is a cable modem and a cable compatible router made for my internet
company
I'm a computer techniction and this has batheled me totally and I can't get
windows 98 to connect
what do I need to do on the laptop to make the laptop share the internet
connection and how can I make the router find the laptop
the router is connected to the PC by Ethanet and the modem is connected to
the router by ethanet
all lights are on the router and all lights are on the modem
and there is a livbe connection with my PC as I'm reading E-mails as normal
and going on the internet as normal
the only thing I've noticed is when going on the internet I sometimes have
to refresh the page about twice through loading the page and then it comes
up alright as if it needs more time to connect

any help would be appreciated

from John and guide dog Iris
