company was founded in 1989. So I would not exactly consider this a 'new' no
name company.
They only restructured their company in 2005, I believe, and changed their
name from acertek to asus (tek), in the process.

Smart Computing. I've read the magazine ever since it became part of our
magazine program, and I've always found their evaluations to be right

lose, if 'problems' would occur on a regular basis, than we would have
heard
how many years of warranty they come I do not know. I know mine comes with
two years warranty and servicing.
I have had dell computers in the past as well. they are good and reliable
unless you want top upgrade and are stuck with using their hardware
sometimes, which is one thing I did not like
