removed and it is checked. When it runs it does not clean these files. Is there

Does this operation work same as it did in XP? There's several different
items in the list that weren't in XP to check to have removed and just
wanted before I perform the action that it's ok to have it all removed?

come/tab to is error checking. Is this the same as check disk, scan disk

It is the same is scan disk, chkdsk and so on, but, you can do it from
a GUI and not a command line.
You can alsow make it do a diskcheck in the boot process.
