Hi everyone: I am using Oracle Web with JAWS and a Power Braille 80 at work and thanks to a programmer writing some scripts for me, it's useable, however when I am filling out forms on the internet JAWS will start losing focus or lagging every third or fourth call. Many times updating the screen won't even straighten it out. To make the long story short, I have finally obtained enough network rights to restart JAWS complete with the video intercept files so that my scripts continue to work. I was having to reboot every time this happened. I did a Google search as I had nothing to lose. I found that there is a developer called Discoverer that helps, but I don't know if it is even going to work with the version of Oracle that we are using. I'm not smart enough to figure that out just by reading about it, and it was a blog which I only put some stock in. Thank goodness the call I'm having trouble with isn't the only one I do but sometimes JAWS is sluggish on the other calls and I have to refresh the screen a lot. Does anybody have any ideas about this issue?. My work computer runs McAfee. Is there an issue with McAfee and JAWS now? Perhaps that has something to do with it. Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. I'm the only one at that facility that uses JAWS and/or Braille so everybody is at a total loss. Thanks.
