Hi list,
I was interested in the conversation regarding external hard drives on the list
a few weeks ago. I got some prices from Dell as a starting point, as my desktop
is a Dell. They have a 250 gig which is actually cheaper than a 180 gig they
have. The woman thinks the reason is, the higher gig one is a 3 something inch,
while the 180 gig one is a 2 something inch. She said the higher gig one is not
portable i.e you don't pop it into your bag. My question is, what does the size
in inches refer to i.e height or width? Is there really much difference between
them?
thanks Jason
