In Windows Defender, click tools, click options, clear the use Windows
Defender check box, click save, and you're done. Not difficult at all. I
had to do it the other night for my girlfriend.

I also use Superantispyware with good results. However, if you don't watch
out, it will be at you all the time, scanning numerous times a day, stopping
you in your tracks. I have it set to do a complete scan once a week but it
does daily stuff anyway. marilyn
