Keith, when you buy a dado blade, I would suggest you buy a stack set

Hi All,
Last evening I purchased a Craftsman 10 in. Sliding Miter Saw model 21237.
I found one review by a user who gave it a 5.0 except for the lazar which in
his opinion is not bright enough. For some reason I don't think that I will
have a problem with that feature.
I made so many bad cuts
ain't much you couldn't do with that.
Nice.

Hi All,
I am very impressed with the new saw, except for the blade.
I decided to open it before my son-in-law came over. I didn't need him. The
only assembly was to screw in the locking nob/handle in front. Took all of 2
minutes.
Making some small cuts I found that they are not as smooth as I

Leave it for 12 hours then turn it on and see! Nothing much else to be done.

Sure! although by now it probably doesn't matter all that much.
I expect any liquid has already drained out. It may be though that sugars
from soft drink are left behind and they may smell a little as the
components heat up.

A really good cross cut blade made with quality carbide tipped teeth will
cost you around $80. I put one on this saw here a couple of years ago, the
quality of cuts is outstanding.

Nope, I don't know of any that are blind friendly and ready to go.
The pocket hole jigs are very easy to use and you will get the hang of it right
away. The placement of the depth collar on the drill bit is critical to the
system working properly. This is what determines that the screw comes
I have one from MLCS. I did have to have someone initially set it up for 3/4
stock. I intend to cut small pieces of wood for quick setting up of 1, 3/4
and 1/2 stock.
The instructions for setting the stop collar were very simple. Place the bit
in the jig so that the tip of the bit is about 1/8
Hey Lenny,
Glad you pulled the saw out! Nothing like a new saw. The world is a
piece of lumber waiting to be cut! A good new saw blade will cost
between $50 and $80 and all will be good.
. Congratulations on a good deal.

Lenny,
fifteen amps at 120 volts i assume doesn't add up to three
horsepower. 1 HP requires about 750 wattsand your motor is rated
at 15 times 120 or 1560 watts, or just a bit over 2 HP.
It'll probably do just fine.
wish i had room and need for a neat saw like that.
Have fun and be carefull

I think I would leave it longer, it does take some time for moisture in an

Horsepower is something always over stated. I have a big Triton router
claimed to be 3 and a quarter hp. It might be for a fraction of a minute on
start-up but you don't really get more than about a horse and a half out of
15 amps at 110 volts..
