I believe that from the same place you got the counter top, they have caps that go over the ends of the counter. earlier, Chanting Monks, wrote: Thanks, Dale, much appreciated. I was surprised at the price myself. I was actually thinking about using a good door for my desktop, but the kitchen

Rob, Those monsters are called Fly cutters I think and they are very dangerous as the cutter is on the end of that arm and flying around in open air near your little blind body parts. Depending on the thickness of the sheet, you could drill a series of small holes around the perimeter of the

Oh, I'll have to check that possibility out. If there are pre-fitted caps that just go on the edges, taht would be even better than the urethane. Then no uncapped pens will wind up escaping from me when I'm trying to jot down a phone message for my wife. :) Best, Joe Monks Every day you

I have to buy a new 25000 b.t.u. airconditioner and since I depend a lot on my hearing, I wanted to know if anyone can recommend a brand that is quiet. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

[BlindHandyMan] battery powered tools question

I posted a question about this, but didn't have the brand name right. Are Ryobi +1 18 volt tools good? Do they last? Are there any problems with batteries maintaining their life? Any experiences/opinions with these tools, pro or con, would be appreciated.

Don't know about that brand specifically because I have never owned them but I recommend these days that you look for Lithium ion batteries. They stand up better and although they cost more in the long run they are well worth it. If the tool uses Nickel hydride or nickel cadmium batteries you

Hi Shane, I can not speak for the cordless tools but I own 3 Ryobi power tools. I have a router, bench and finishing sander. Before I purchased I checked for reviews and they were all great and I do agree with them. The finishing sander has a limited life time warranty. Ryobi is made

I have a Ryobi circular saw, drill, and light. They all seem to be well built and have plenty of power. I haven't had them long enough to know how many recharges the batteries are good for. I bought the drill and light in a package with two batteries and a charger. The saw didn't come with

Ray. Before the alkaline cell or battery, there was the venerable zink carbon cell. They ranged in size from pen light cells to the giant ones that powered the crank telephones. The crank generator was just for powering the ringer. The batteries powered the voice circuits of the telephone.

Hi, some where I herd about a air conditioner that comes in two parts. The compressor sets outside and all you put in your window is the fan and cooling coil and that makes it a lot quieter. - Original Message - From: Eugene Baroni To: blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com Sent:
