I appreciate all of your thanks and will keep looking around for I hope
articles which may help others decide to do those handy man or women tasks
around our homes.

Thank you Rae, just in time. My son-in-law and I intend to resurface my deck
and refresh it generally. We will certainly take a look at the alternatives
you have proposed.
Thanks again.

I'd say if you like your wife then you might want to invest in the
heavy duty shocks. if you got 100,000 miles out of them then be
glad. Lee

I'm laughing as now I can say to others here" I told you so . it is
a 318 ". thanks for those tips Bob. now I need to wait until the
truck reappears. seems as the kid took off for the North country.
Isn't it interesting that until we have a problem with a car or truck
we do not find out
Also worn shock absorbers will cause abnormal tire wear.

Tom,
For the finish, I left it natural. Use treated lumber and decking for the
floor. 2x4's for the railings. Couldn't find my framer, so had to go to deck
screw. They tell me it looks good. Except my wife, who wanted a railing made of
the fancy spindles and caps. I told her it just isn't going
Great work R.J.
what did you do for finish?
I've gotten to really like ramps particularly when going down since I've been
dealing with a ballance problem for several years. If I have to go down
any more than a couple of stairs with no rail, I get
very very carefull.

Scott,
I am not sure i did it right the first few times either. I do believe you can
get a pdf of the manual from the website, so you won't need to try to scan it
in.
This is how I fold it. When I am standing in front of the saw, the wheels are
on the left, and the legs on the right. If you
Scott, when you looked at the Rigid, did you also look at the Makita
portable saw? I noticed the Makita's on the Home Depot site, also.

Ah, thanks, I'll check into that then. Like I said, never done it, but
can't imagine it would be impossible. I was even told you don't even
have to jack the vehicle up.
tnx

Now out of curiosity, we own a Jeep Grand CHerokee. Now Jeeps have a
rough ride to begin with, but she's got about 100,000 miles on her. I
wonder if it would be nearing time to replace the shocks. Lately it
just seems to me that it has a little more bounce and roll than I
remember, but it c
Michael, I ended up returning the Dewalt. I did not like a couple of
things, but the real issue was a problem in the mechanism that raised
and lowered the blade. It seemed to slip a little and made some
growning noises. I ended up getting the Ridgid saw after reading the
reviews and info. I
