When anybody at all subscribes to any list I have a hand in running they are
always automatically placed on moderated status by the list management
software. Then after they post a few times and we feel they are an all right

Hi Max,
I used to have a Cd of that sort, and it actually had brush bristles
sticking out of the disc surface, at various places on the disc so it
covered the entire lens at one point or another.
There was always a cleaning solution that could be used with the CD, but I
really never had to use
Interesting. I would think that the bristles would drag on other things in
there and stall and burn out the drive motor. I guess not.
