Hey thanks for the info. I have a little time to study all this since
I have some other projects to deal with first and unfortunately they

My trouble is that I don't enjoy fiddling about with computers and CD drives

I don't have Windows Vista on this laptop; it's XP, so I wonder if this
information will help?
Thanks.

Dale,
You have a point there, yes Kindle does use several proprietary formats and
will have access to materials before they get to one of the bat systems.
And yes there is that silly worry about synthetic speech taking market from
audio books.
Being cheap, I would rarely pay for books I can get f

I agree great post, unfortunately, it can't address the problem claudia is

If it is a new issue, I suggest she take it to her nearest Geeks and have them

I've done that with the copper to plastic even though everyone tells me it
can't be done. Maybe they used too long a wrench.

There is map gas but it's hotter and getting the heat right with solder and not
melting it instantly is tougher with map gas.

Hi,
Can anyone give me any ideas as to why my laptop fan seems to constantly
run, as of late?
The bottom of the unit doesn't feel hot; it does a good job of keeping it
pretty cool, but should it constantly be running?
This is a Toshiba laptop; it's 3 years old!
