Hi,
My Muvo T100 just split down the middle; it opens up, and the chip and on &
off switches are exposed.
It stil works, if I hold it together; I love this thing, so I'll probably
tape it shut.
Is there anything compreble out there?

I have one of those amazingly useful EZ Smart Guide Systems from Eureka
Zone. This is an extruded Aluminum track that you can use to ride your
circular saw on to make very straight cuts. You have to add a special
shoe to the shoe of your circ saw so that the new shoe rides on the groove

Hey Dan:
I have 2 circular saws. One is an 18V cordless 6" blade while the other is a
corded 7 1/4 blade.
To be honest, I mostly use the 18V cordless because of it's ease of use. I
don't have to mess with the cord. Although, if I'm
doing more than a few cuts, I'll drag it out.

I have been trying to order the pen friend label maker. They must be swamped

I use something very similar as far as the guide. Mine came from a company

I am old, lazy, and forgetful, so when I try and use my circ saw with a

I say iif it works for you then there is no need to do anything different.
Also, since it was a gift from your Wife, you had better use it. :)

I came home and finally remembered to measure the parts of my saw system.
My saw has a 2 3/8 maximum depth of cut. The plastic shoe holds the saw
off the guide 3/8 of an inch. The guide itself is 1/2 inches thick. So,
if everything were dead on, I should be just barely able to cut through 1
Hi all,
I picked up a "home made" cabinet at a rummage sale. Whomever built it didn't

leaving the color just as it is with the wood grain showing.
Any ideas what we should buy for the finish and the procedure to mak
Hi Howard,
If you only want it to look like it is, I would get a small container of
denatured alcohol to clean anything that may be on the wood already. This
would be things like wax, finger prints you can see and things like that.
Wipe down the areas you want to protect then put on a couple
I learned that Aldies has a 3,000 watt generator for about $200. I also
found on the net that there are conversion kits for generators to run on
natural or propane.
I wonder how long it would run on a 20lb propane tank.
It is a unit that I would hope never to use. I thought about it just for an
not propane but have seriously considered to switching to natural gas
which I have on the premises already. Lee

A 20lb tank holds about 4 gallons of propane. Propane contains less energy
than gasoline but can run more efficiently. My 3500W generator can run at
an average of half power all night and part of the day on 5 gallons of gas.
We get a lot of under 5 minute power losses for which I use a number
Hi Lennie,
I bought a kit and installed on my generator that lets me use gasoline or
natural gas. When I need to run it here around the house I run it on
natural gas. If I need to run it at camp (where there is no natural gas) I
operate it on gasoline. I called our friend Alex over there in P
My system is called the, dumb guide.
I use a straight board to run my circular saw against when I want to cut
something large like a sheet of plywood.
I have a block of wood which I have cut to the exact distance between the
edge of the shoe and the saw blade.
This makes it relatively easy to line
Howard,
It's hard to beat polyurathane for durability and ease of use.
You can buy it in a can labeled, Wipe on Poly. Put it on with a cloth,
sanding between coats, and three coats will give you a very good finish. If
you have a surface that might take some wear, you can add extra coats. Thin

I like hand wipe poly from Minwax. You can have it in about three grades of

a very nice finish, can be layered until you get just the textur
You can't even talk to them over the phone anymore. You have to request
