I just checked and the vent is closed..I'm not sure if the compressor is running or not when it's in fan mode and right now, we have it turned off since about 8 this morning, because the water that is coming out of it on the outside is ice cold and the bottom of the unit is very cold and

Wow, you know alot about these units, I wish I could say the same, but I know nothing about them. We decided to keep the ac off overnight, so it will have a 24 hour period of rest, excluding the 3 times we plugged it back in to see if the ice cold air was still coming out of it while in fan
