Well if it is just the cord and you are really attach to this Vac yes the
cord can be replaced. Is it time for a new one sounds like it but if it can
be put back like new and continue using it this would be a option.

there are orick websites, and other repair options. Philadelphia has an
orick shop or two I'm rather sure.
Contacted Orick and asked about repairs? IF they built it they could work
on it for you.
But maybe they'd offer a trade in on a new one. Electrolux does that,.
