I wish I had one of those hand held sewing machines you used to hear
about on television. my 13 year old winter cover for the pool has a
couple good sized holes in it and i am thinking of taking a vinyl
table cloth and cutting it in half to form up two big patch's . 5then
i hear that
The ones I've seen years ago did just a chain stitch, wouldn't hold against
much.
the vinal table cloth probably won't stand U.V. for long either. What's the
cover made of?

the cover, the winter cover is made of some sort of plastic / vinyl.
it has last ed thru 13 or 13 Northeast winters ice and all but if I
can buy one more winter with a halfso and so patch job. then I
would be pleased . now I am thinking maybe a glue of sorts to tack it
down the cove

I'd look at thistothat.com
for vinal glues and use a few big hand stiches to hold it
while the glue dries.

If you have a vinyl table cloth, I wouldn't punch holes in it to sew it to the
cover. Get some water bed repair glue and use that.

there is that super glue that is waterproof. Gene, says he can go under
water and put the patches on.
I've used it above water and find it runs like water, yuck!

I have a real temp job done due to weather changes down to 34 degrees
f. so it is back to the outer edges of you guessed it " duck tape"
and then a leather needle with fishing liline as soon as the snow
hits it it will not make a difference. the main reason for the patch is
