My mower stops running after a few minutes of mowing unless I open the throttle
while I prime it with the little rubber bulb on the side of the carb. This
must be a tell tale sign of a specific issue... anyone know what it is?
thermometer? clogged primer? need a new motor?
thanks,
david

sounds like the little holes in your gas cap are clogged.
get a small piece of wire and poke all around the cap or maybe down through the
top.
if that don't work get a new one.
but thats to good of a fix to be true but it was the problem on one i had.

Hi David,
Years ago, I had a very similar problem with my mower. It occurred in the
spring immediately after I brought my mower out of winter storage. The
service person who checked my mower told me it was old gas. He drained and
replaced the
g the grass. I can not
imagine someone running a mower after several cans of beer. Chet did suggest
that he purches a new gas cap.

Hi David,
I've always used a product called Stabil (at least I think that's how to
spell it).
Take care,

Smells like rubbing alcohol doesn't it? That's because it is for the most part.
