Well, I finally got the copper carpet tacks for the door mat. I took one and started it in a scrap block of wood then attacked it with the palm nailer. It drove it in nice and straight but really mangled the head of the tack. So Karen used a regular hammer and pounded in a few to keep the door

We have a fairly heavy door mat that keeps being moved out of place. Since outside I plan to use a few copper tacks to secure the mat. Since physically I can no longer swing a hammer I thought about the palm nailer. Is there any suggestions to keep the tack straight until the pounding starts? I
