I am trying to order something on line. Can someone please tell me the
approximate conversion rate from pounds to dollars. 100 pounds to be precise.
I do not want to get my hopes up to much about the prices. Also, what kind of
shipping am I looking at across the pond and all?

Looks like your 100 pound cost will set you back just about $201 U.S. The
dollar is really sucking these days. Don't know what shipping will set
you back. Depends on what you are shipping.

I ship things to the UK frequently. It always weighs about three pounds
and with a few hundred dollars worth of insurance it usually comes to about
$35.00. That's using the United States mail. UPS and the others are much more
expensive and they are what most merchants use. I would check
$2.1018 per pound as of today
So, about $10.51 = 5 pounds
