I sent a request to MLCS about a specific router bit speed. They gave me the following information.
The proper speed to run a bit is determined by its large diameter. To see a listing of proper cutting speeds based on bit diameter, please refer to our MLCS Technical FAQ page at the following URL: http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/techfaq.htm#bit%20speed I was using a bit to cut a 1 1/2" high molding.
