In the days when milk came in glass bottles with aluminium foil caps: boiling them in a stained teapot was the way to clean it up. I am sure that the now-long-gone foil caps could be replaced with ordinary aluminium foil. Jewel

Hello Everyone, I boiled my kettle three separate times with vinegar and had terrific results. I let it stand with the vinegar in it over night. I got rid of just about every bit of the deposits. Now will the calcium deposits which remain hurt me or the tea? Rita
