If you have a Batteries Plus in your area, you can generally get batteries made
for most of the note-takers.
The last time I did a battery for a Braille 'n Speak it was around $25 or so.
Keep in mind, that replacing batteries with other than the ones sold by the

Holds true with just about anything. If done improperly, almost anything will
