Accessibility Project Mailing Lists

2017-05-01 Thread Linux for blind general discussion
Someone on the Linux for Blind General Discussion List hosted by RedHat made a good point about the need for the users of accessibility tools to communicate with the developers of those tools, and figured it could use it's own thread both on the originating list as well on IAVIT's Tech Talk. So, i

While I myself am a Linux user, I agree FOSS accessibility projects for non-FOSS OSes are still relevant. After all, many people dual-boot Windows and Linux or have multiple machines running differing OSes. -- Sincerely, Jeffery Wright President Emeritus, Nu Nu Chapter, Phi Theta Kappa. Former S

I would agree that NVDA has little to do with free software accessibility, and therefore shouldn't be included, especially on freedesktop.org, since Windows last I knew was not even close to freedesktop compliance. Sure, NVDA shares some components, and it is itself free software, but I was und

My goal here is to help improve accessibility for as many people as possible at minimal average cost per user. Doing that through FOSS accessibility on FOSS platforms while using FOSS applications would be great, but an increase in user/developer communications that leads to an improvement on propr
