subscribing to shell accounts since 1995. Sure Linux is powerful and because its
case sensative you can have practicly unlimited amount of file names. My

If you mean to browse something just type:
edbrowse url
or
edbrowse file
Then you can use the same commands as ed.
edbrowse is also an email reader/sender and other stuff. I love it.
