The "Statistics" link at Solarspeed GUI > AV-SPAM > Statistics is excellent,
but most spams are likely rejected via greylisting, before being tagged or
rejected by SpamAssassin.

I see mcrypt isn't included with php on SL6.4, nor in most of the RHEL6
family tree.
Not looking forward to compiling php against it, I went in search of a
solution. I think I have one, EPEL to the rescue :) but would like a
verdict on if it is safe for production use:

I got to the bottom of this. My install had a corrupt file which was
preventing vhosts from being added correctly. A newly burned CD and fresh
install to different hardware resolved the issue. Obscure much? :)
