Now that header is interesting - because my email came from an Exchange 2010 server - the server in question above is in a datacentre and provides SMTP relay services for our clients. It has nothing to do with our internal email ;) On the server in question, 'hostname' resolves correctly. The problem is that the sendmail HELO doesn't.
