A lot of times when you see this, you'll find that the daily cron is just running behind. In other words, there may be items in that cron.daily directory that are taking a long time to execute, and therefore everything just gets pushed back. The solution could be to find and tweak/remove the culprit. Or sometimes I've found this to be the case on old servers having to process a lot of logs, or handle large backups. I have noted that I have 2 identical servers (in terms of hardware), one of them a 5106R and the other 5108R. The 5108R has more to do, but finishes the nightly tasks HOURS ahead of the 5106R. My assumption is this has to do with the 64-bit. -- Chris Gebhardt VIRTBIZ Internet Services Access, Web Hosting, Colocation, Dedicated www.virtbiz.com | toll-free (866) 4 VIRTBIZ _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list Blueonyx@mail.blueonyx.it http://mail.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx
