Hi Richard, > Did anyone else see the OpenVPN package looking at some of the cool things. > Nice Package Michael & Greg
Thank you, Richard. Yeah, I thought an OpenVPN package where the GUI does all the complicated stuff such as configuring the OpenVPN server and handling the SSL key management for the users might come in handy. VPN's are pretty useful to protect your data-stream from prying eyes by wrapping them into another layer of encryption and it also obfuscates your IP and geographical origin. On my mobile I've got "OpenVPN connect" installed and used it by default, regardless if just polling emails or using social media. It also helps to get around ridiculous geographical content blocks and I use it to lock some of my servers down even a bit tighter than before without loosing usability. Because I can still login (even while on the road) using OpenVPN. I think it's also a good marketable feature for BlueOnyx users as demand for this kind of things is on the rise. -- With best regards Michael Stauber _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list Blueonyx@mail.blueonyx.it http://mail.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx
