Hi Team.

Firstly, Thanks to Chris and his team. All issues fixed. Thanks again to the
Virtbiz team for helping during the issues.

However, I will take this opportunity to advise people that I am working on
some (long overdue) upgrades. NewLinQ and the support ticket system will be
moved to 5209R in the very near future. I am doing this as a staged migration.
A quick overview on what is happening and what to expect:

1. I am moving the database first. I have a script that is doing the DB
migration. I have already actually done it a number of times, but I have not
yet cutover to the DB on the new server. This is coming soon. Each time I do a
test migration, there will be outages of up to about 60 seconds… but no
functional loss of data.

2. Next, I will be activating the new apps (NewLinQ / NewLinQ-admin and the
support ticketing system) on the new server. At this point, requests to the new
server IP or the old server IP will both work. No additional outages expected
while this runs in parallel.

3. Next, I will cutover DNS. Requests to the old IP will continue to work until
DNS caches converge to new details.

4. And finally, I will turn off the old VPS… keep it around in case of
emergency for a while, but that should be it.
