What makes a boat anchor a boat anchor?
Well picture a small one person wooden row boat, a length of rope, a 10 knot
moderate wind and a lee short. The boat operator ties the rope to the
candidate boat anchor and throws it over board having first attached the bitter
end of the rope to the boat

Digikey has two single turn 100 K pots with two inch long shafts
RV4NJ104C-ND is one part number a little pricey at $9.00 and there is another
long shaft 100 K 2W pot in stock a Honeywell number at $12.00 still cheaper
than an ordinary pot and a shaft extension.

I'm guessing this is a crystal ( crystal = diode in this case) video detector
followed by some amplification, filtering and maybe (trigger)pulse generation
to be used for radar or similar testing.

If it where me I'd want and see if this gets any bids and if not

principals,I'd voltage regulate at least the oscillator stage. It is cheap and
not hard to do.

I have a back burner project that requires a 7-pin plug. I decided to just
make one with a pcb and brass rod of the correct OD for the pins.
My problem is to date i have not been able to find a dimension-ed mechanical
